My God in whom I trust
With You, Most High, I make my home
I shelter in Your love
You keep me like a mother bird
Beneath Your gentle wing
You guard me as a shield in war
Your arms protecting me

But God, there is so much to fear
A threat on every side
The hunter's trap, the deadly plague
The terror in the night
But even if a thousand fall
